There were two major problems. Our confirmed booking was for 10:00 on March 1. Katy sent a message to meet at a 7-eleven near Fed Square and my roommate and I got off the cruise ship as soon as we could, took the first shuttle we could and walked as fast as we could, but didn't find the 7-eleven until 10:10. Katy wasn't there. I didn't find out until returning to the ship that she'd attempted to change the time to 8:30, which would have been impossible for us to meet. But I did not get this message anyway until I returned to the ship that afternoon. I was very, very disappointed and don't think GuruWalk is for me.
Katy was an excellent guide. She had shown us even more places than I expected. Some little hidden corners were introduced in details. Multicultural perspective was presented through the whole route. A bit of humour was sprinkled over the tour as well. Katy tried to avoid summer heat and walked by shady part of streets.
Katy took myself & another man on a very interesting walk around Melbourne, I learnt & saw stuff I wouldn't have gotten to know if I hadn't taken the tour. She looked after us & was very friendly.
Unfortunately the guide did not show up
