Miguel was very informative and waited until we were altogether before each stop to begin talking, which was very helpful because we had over 20 people in the group. He was very pleasant and personable, and do a lot about the temples, shrines and other sites we saw on the tour.

We had a lovely time on our walking tour with Ayumi! The tour was really well paced, with just the right amount of walking, interesting history and stories, and enough free time to explore the temple and take some photos. Ayumi is super energetic, fun and lovely to spend time with. We really enjoyed the experience!

Muchas gracias.

The guide was knowledgeable, friendly and clearly passionate about Kyoto and its history. I enjoyed the walk and appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the city. My only reservation was that the guide wore a large badge displaying a political message, which I found distracting. Personally, I prefer guided walks to remain focused on the history and culture of the place, without political messaging. I fully respect everyone's right to their own views, but I would have preferred not to have politics brought into the experience. Overall, it was an enjoyable walk, but this aspect detracted somewhat from the experience for me.
