I highly enjoyed this tour by Roy. He was engaging, funny, and shared a lot about Beijing and China from past to present. For some people, Beijing might seem quite different to what they’re used to, but Roy brought comfort and deep understanding. Thank you Roy!

I really liked the tour. We got so many information which you wouldn't get by walking in your own. The tour is very interactive so it doesn't feel like 2.5 hours. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time with Roy! He is very knowledgeable, funny and knows how to tell the history and stories of Beijing in a way that keeps you interested throughout the whole tour. It was informative, relaxed and entertaining – the time passed incredibly quickly. Roy also gave us lots of useful tips and recommendations for exploring Beijing beyond the tour, which I really appreciated. As with any historical tour, some of the historical and political context naturally reflects the Chinese perspective, so it is worth keeping that in mind and considering other perspectives as well. Overall, a great mix of history, local insights and humor, and an excellent way to experience Beijing beyond just seeing the sights. Highly recommended!
