We very much enjoyed the tour! It was bit shorter than expected but we didn't mind. Our guide was very accommodating and answered all our questions in a very informative and knowledgeable manner (including the first question about safety in Newtown). He was also fun to be around - we joked a lot, which made the tour even more enjoyable. We learned not only a bit of history but also about some current issues and social culture in Newtown.
All in all, we felt safe, comfortable to ask questions and we are satisfied with the tour.

A very interesting tour with lots of information about the Soweto uprising. The tour was a pleasant length (2.5 hours) and we visited many historical sites related to the Soweto uprising and apartheid in general. Thabo is an sympatic Guy who knows Soweto well and had a lot of knowledge about life and history in the area. We can recommend the tour to everyone.

A group of 4 of us were taken around in downtown Joburg by our tour guide Sean. We had a great time, he was very informative and we really enjoyed the stops he took us to. Can't reccomend this your enough as it helped us learn more about the history of the city's diverse background.

Thabo was an incredible tour guide through the history surrounding the Soweto neighborhoods, particularly the Jabulani neighborhood and the deadly June 16 1976 student-led protest that began in Soweto and spread countrywide after turning deadly, traced back to policies of the Apartheid government. But beyond the history, we also learned a lot about the region, people, languages, and culture. We could not have asked for a more informative guide and made our day truly memorable.
