I had a great time on today’s city tour of Malé! It was the perfect mix of culture, history, and local life. We visited the main sights, explored the vibrant fish and fresh fruit markets, and even got to try some delicious local food right at the market. I also appreciated the stop at the souvenir shop and the helpful tips on where to have dinner. Hearing about the history of Malé added so much depth to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get a real feel of the city ☺️

People come to Maldives and skip Male, which is sad because there is a wealth of knowledge of this country beyond the picturesque islands and fancy resorts. During this tour I was provided a great deal of knowledge about the history and culture of the Maldives. Every moment of this tour was filled with laughter and excitement as I learned about the country. I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to the Maldives. It is worth it to take this tour to fully immerse yourself into the culture. My tour guide was absolutely brilliant and had such great stories about this experience living here in Male.

I really enjoyed the walking tour with Mash — it was a great way to learn about Maldivian history and everyday life. Sampling local sweets at the market was a highlight, and watching fresh fish being expertly filleted at the fish market was fascinating. Since I was alone, we finished a bit early, but Mash kindly took the time to show me a few extra spots beyond the planned route. During the souvenir stop, there's no pressure to buy, but if you do, prices are very fair — and having a local guide helps ensure you get the best deals.
