The kids absolutely loved him, they were totally into his stories and magic tricks. We did too, of course! Before coming, we got them to learn a little Chinese, and we’re really grateful to Ricky for helping with that. Ricky is super friendly, professional, and really funny. His English is fantastic! He didn’t just talk about the Terracotta Warriors, but also gave us a whole lesson on Chinese history. He placed the artifacts in a big historical context and connected them to current social trends in China. And so many interesting stories！ The kids (and us!) were totally hooked. Not easy to keep them quiet, but he managed! Huge thanks to him. Honestly, I’d 100% recommend this tour!

We are really grateful to Ricky for the amazing tours. We think European guides are the best in the industry—funny, knowledgeable, and passionate. But Chinese guides, on the other hand, seem to have a bit of a gap (maybe we just haven’t met enough of them). That is, until we met Ricky. He reminded us of European guides, and he feels like an old friend, which is rare to experience. Also, not every guide can make magic tricks look that good.❤️ Thanks again, Ricky! Wenqi showed us streets and tastes we never would have found on our on in the Muslim quarter. She is fun and informative, a must do your when visiting Xi’An.

Wenqi is AMAZING, foodie indeed i belive she has a PHD in noodle-odogly because she really know about her food she was super fun to be with her knowledge of a true local foodie is another level. We ate alot and she explained everything with details all yhe food was delicious my favorite was the yogurt a MUST to try and my wifes favorite was the meatballs soup. But honestky everything was amazing. We are visiting Xi'an at de beginning of lunar new Years celebration and she took us yo a very busy and exciting tour around the Muslim quarter. We visited about 8 different places and really enjoyed a variety of foods but off the beaten track. The stops included sweet and savoury, hot and cold and suited all our tastes. The joy of a tour like this is sharing the experience with other food loving people. There are just soooo many alley ways and food stalls to stop at I’m so pleased the decision was made for us. A wonderful way to explore Xian and the different food offerings

We learned a lot about history of the city and the city itself. It was an amazing experience. The tour guide is very educated and kind.

I loved to practice writing in Chinese. We were able to learn Chinese characters and culture, while enjoying some nice tea and snacks in a cozy ambiance. I totally recommend this tour!

The tour was great, we learned a lot on the class, and we had a great meal with a lot of dishes to try. The dinner experience was amazing. I felt very welcomed by the family that received us. One of the best experiences in China.

Yunyun is a great guide. Great English and knowledge of Xi’An. She gave as a great tour of the city and superb restaurant recommendations . Totally recommended.

Yunyun was great! She has a set route that she wanted to take us on but she was very flexible along the way and adapted to our questions and interests. She was very prepared and seemingly had an answer for everything in picture form on her phone. Thank you Yunyun!
