We had a wonderful tour this morning with Courtney. She had a lovely relaxed manner and took us places we would never have found. The walk was leisurely, informative and so interesting. This was our first experience with guru walks and we would highly recommend it and we are keen to do another one. Thank you so much Courtney.

Absolutely incredible tour packed with unique information, not overwhelming historical facts, fascinating credible stories. If you really want to understand the soul of the region, especially Toulouse, take the tour. This was an extraordinary experience as Harry is not very typical and traditional tour guide. He is taking professional pride of narration and very passionate about city and history. We can vouch for his restaurants recommendations. Thank you, Harry

Fun tour, and a good way to see different parts of the city. It might have been a bit more facts but we still enjoyed it and it made us understand how Toulouse is built and where to go after the tour.

Best things to do and see in Toulouse

Toulouse is one of the most important cities in southern France (after Marseille and Lyon) capital of the province of Languedoc. Known as the 'Pink City', it is located in the middle of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean and has a historic center full of color thanks to the cobbled streets and brick facades. In addition, it has the presence of the Garonne River and the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that give the city a special charm.

Toulouse has a large number of essential places that you should visit if you travel to the city. We recommend that you let yourself be accompanied on your tour by a local guide in any of the free walking tour that exist in the city of both the most emblematic sites and the rest of special corners. You should go to see the Basilica of San Saturnino de Tolosa, the City of Space (interactive museum on the aerospace industry), the Capitol (Capitole), the Victor Hugo Market, the Augustinian Museum, the San Pedro Bridge or the Convent of the Jacobins, although there are more places that you can discover.

The free tours in Toulouse (morning and afternoon) have the opinions of travelers who have already done the tour with the local guide valuing both the route and the experience. Other cities where you can find guided tours are Paris, Bordeaux, Nice or Montpellier.
