My name is Aung Pyae, but to friends and fellow Yangon lovers I am Johny. I love meeting new people and speaking English. Yangon is my passion. I love showing people to temples and sharing Myannar culture. I adore Yangon Downtown and its vibe and I am looking forward to meeting you there.
A free walking tour to discover the must see places in the capital city, while enjoying a mix of food, culture and local life.
We will visit a bistro which was once a colonial mansion, we will walk past Sule Pagoda, along Maha Bandula Street and Merchant Road.
The tour ends in Chinatown, one of the most energetic districts with delicious Downtown street food and a mix of cultures and a unique atmosphere.
Near the entrance to Burma Bistro will be dressed in red longyi (Myanmar skirt), blue top, and Myanmar Times newspaper in my hand.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
