This is a historical and architectural tour in which you will visit the most important monuments of the city of Antigua Guatemala, learning about their history, building materials, architectural styles, interpretation of architectural facades, as well as

You will learn about the different foundations of the city and its various relocations throughout the history of Santiago de Goathemala, important figures, as well as the different events that influenced it.

Its conservation process, until it was declared a cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO in 1979, the interpretation of the architectural facades and much more.

TOUR THEME AND WHO IT'S FOR ‼️⚠️

This tour focuses on history and architecture, and is aimed at anyone who truly enjoys history, architecture, and art history.


My tour is focused on a specific audience interested in the topics already mentioned, to avoid any problems or inconveniences.


It is not suitable for children under 12 years old, as the type of route can make them easily frustrated.

I respectfully ask those who book my tour to carefully read the tour instructions to avoid confusion or disagreements and thus prevent bad reviews that only lower my rating.

Also, please, if anyone woke up with a hangover, don't come on the tour, as I've had some people who stayed up late the night before and aren't interested in what I explain. If you've been drinking, please refrain from coming. Thank you!

And please no smoking 🚭 or drug use 🙏🏿 It's not allowed, thank you. You can smoke but away from the group.

Insolent people will not be tolerated on my tour. If you arrive with a bad attitude, show aggression, speak disrespectfully to the guide without reason, or talk to other walkers and ignore the guide while the guide is speaking, you will be asked to leave the tour.

If you will not be arriving on time, please cancel or notify us in advance. Those arriving late are advised that calls or messages will not be answered once the tour has started.

With all due respect to the good people who read this, I want to let you know that people of various nationalities arrive who behave in this way. I don't want to generalize, but it's so that these kinds of people don't disrupt the tour and steal the group's energy.


A MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS IS REQUIRED FOR THE TOUR, THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Please 🙏🏿 punctuality is very important, I ask for punctuality so as not to delay those who arrived early. If you were late, please let me know.

Please book one day before the tour, or 3 hours before if you are booking on the same day.

TOUR CONDITIONS

- Punctuality
The tour starts at 9:30 AM. Please be punctual out of respect for the other members of the group! A minimum number of people is required for the tour to run.


Walkers are advised to arrive 10 minutes before the tour. If a walker does not arrive or does not confirm their participation either through the app or WhatsApp, their spot will be given to another person, and the tour will begin. Thank you very much 😊 Please confirm either through this channel or via WhatsApp.


If there is no response from the walker to the guide, the reservation will be cancelled.



It is suggested to show respect above all else, as on some tours there have been situations where some walkers arrive in a bad mood, drunk or drugged, or are not interested in the tour and display bad and terrible behavior, and are uneducated and become aggressive, since some people believe that because it is 'free' they can do whatever they want.




If you are bringing additional guests on the tour, please ask if they can join, as there is a limit on the number of people allowed! Thank you!



I ask that people write to me a few hours before the tour to let me know how many people will be coming, as there is a set limit. Thank you!






Walkers are advised to wear sunscreen and protect themselves from the sun's rays.

During the tour we did not enter shops, craft markets, bars, shopping, ruins, or restaurants.

If you want to acknowledge my work as a professional and don't know how much to contribute, the minimum amount is expected to be €12.
€15 per person .

ADDITIONAL NOTES

- Outfit
To enter some important religious sites, it is suggested that you dress appropriately as low-cut tops and shorts are not permitted. It is recommended to remove glasses and hats upon entering a religious site. Thank you very much!

Talking on the phone inside churches is not allowed in the old city.

- Inappropriate behavior




Alcohol, drugs, and especially smoking are not permitted during the tour as they disrupt its flow. Drug and alcohol consumption is prohibited in Antigua Guatemala.





Walkers are advised not to use their cell phones 📵 while the guide is giving explanations, unless it is for work-related matters or an emergency. Please let me know if you need to use your phone. Thank you!




Walkers are also asked not to talk to other walkers unless it is something important while the guide is speaking; otherwise, they will be asked to leave the tour, as it is uncomfortable for both the guide and the rest of the group when someone is talking.

Only banknotes in good condition and not damaged are accepted. No other currencies or torn banknotes are accepted either.

Each walker will also be given headphones and radios to ensure good sound quality during the tour, as some streets are quite noisy and it's difficult to hear the explanations. Please take care of the equipment and headphones, as they are my work tools. The screens get scratched and the cables get damaged; if you damage them, you will have to pay for it! All of this is done with respect for everyone.

People are asked to show good behavior and respect towards the guide, and to value the work since I make a living from this; if you are not going to show appropriate behavior, it is better not to come on the tour.
