This is a historical tour in which you will visit the most important monuments of the city of Antigua Guatemala , learning about its history, architecture, and very important facts.

You'll learn about the city's various foundings and relocations in the history of Santiago de Goathemala, important figures, and the various events that influenced it.

Its conservation process, the way it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979, the interpretation of its architectural facades, and much more.

TOUR THEME AND WHO IT IS FOR

The tour is focused on history and architecture, aimed at anyone who truly enjoys history, architecture, and art history. *

It is not suitable for children under 12 years old since due to the type of tour they tend to get desperate very easily.

* Note:
There is only an exterior visit to the monuments and we do not enter the ruins.

TOUR CONDITIONS

- Punctuality
The tour starts at 9:30 AM. I ask for punctuality since arriving late delays the tour and the rest of the group. If you do not come by 9:30 AM, the tour will start out of respect for the group.



If you cannot come to the tour on time, it is better to cancel in advance so as not to delay the tour.

- No distractions to the group
During the tour we did not enter any shops, craft markets, bars, shops, ruins, or restaurants.

- Flexible tour payment
If you want to recognize my work as a professional and don't know how much to contribute, at least €10 per person is expected.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

- Outfit
To enter some important religious sites, it is suggested to dress appropriately since low-cut tops and shorts are not allowed. It is recommended to remove glasses and hats when entering a religious site,

- Inappropriate behavior
The consumption of alcohol or drugs, much less smoking, is not permitted during the tour, as it disrupts its development. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED ON THE TOUR, LESS ALSO THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL. IN ANTIGUA, THE CONSUMPTION OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL IS PROHIBITED. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN FRONT OF THE GUIDE.


IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE TOUR FROM THE START, IT IS BETTER TO LEAVE, BUT IF YOU LEAVE HALFWAY THROUGH THE TOUR, YOU MUST GIVE THE RESPECTIVE TIP. IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE TOUR WITHOUT GIVING A TIP NOR TO ESCAPE FROM THE TOUR. THE CONCEPT OF "FREE" TOUR DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT IS "FREE". READ THE CONCEPT OF FREE TOUR CAREFULLY SINCE MANY THINK THAT IT IS FREE AND IT IS NOT, YOU ARE FREE TO CHOOSE WHO TO GO WITH, MANY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT CONCEPT. PLEASE READ.
