Tour description

If you have enjoyed your visit to Tarragona during the day and already know the Roman aspect of the city, the night will offer you revelations that can only be discovered in the light of the moon.

Discover the most mysterious side of Tarragona thanks to its stories and legends , walking through its streets full of charm and secrets . Many of them based on reality and others that are part of the city's imagination.

You are brave?

**Attention!** This tour is not suitable for very sensitive people or very young children.

We will start at the famous and emblematic Balcón del Mediterráneo , where we will "play ferro" in front of the Mediterranean Sea and thus soak ourselves with good luck before starting the tour.
We will need it.

From the Paseo de las Palmeras we will see the Roman Amphitheater and talk about the famous gladiator fights and other shows that took place there.

In Plaça del Fórum , we will visit two "friends" and talk about the Roman festivals.

From the Plaça del Antic Escorxador ( Old Slaughterhouse ), we will see the Torre de las Ánimas where we will talk about the work, related to death, that the Board carried out in that tower.

In the Portal del Carro , we will talk about the "road to hell" that 150 women suffered when they were transferred from the " Pilate's Prison" (Torre del Pretori) , which we will also see, to the convent of "les Oblates" during Franco's repression.
We will also tell the story of the co-patron of our city with the help of a mural: Sant Magí .

As we walk above what was the old city cemetery , we will be able to see the majestic bell tower of the Cathedral of Santa Tecla in all its splendor. We will also visit the entrance to one of the city's air raid shelters, located under the Biblical Museum .

In front of the façade of the Cathedral of Santa Tecla we will talk about the martyrdom that our patron saint suffered.

Did you know that there was a giant in Tarragona? And that the rats have their own procession in the city?

We will visit Carolina in the Castellarnau House , where its sad story will be revealed.

When we get to the Old Court , we will explain how Tarragona was one of the last cities where an execution by garrote was carried out and it did not go too well.

Stories about witchcraft, exorcisms, supernatural beings and ghosts from specific streets will help us delve into the darkest and scariest side that this city has ever known.

Dare to discover it and let the magic of Tarragona intoxicate you!
