Tour description

The best visit of the City! The tour begins at the Roman Theater, built in the time of Augustus in the first century after Christ and discovered in 1951 during the remodeling works of the old House of Culture. As we walk through its ancient bleachers, I will tell you curiosities about its use and construction. I will also tell you about the Lex Flavia Malacitana, the first municipal law of Malaga, whose fragments are reproduced on the external walls of the Interpretation Center next to the theater. After the sight on the Roman Theater, we will go up to the Alcazaba of Malaga, where you can learn about the Muslim legacy in a city where they lived almost 8 centuries, listen to the incredible story of a castle that became a neighborhood , as well as the Christian conquest and the very long battle for the city in 1487 accompanied by the majestic views of the city and the bay.
