Free tour Icons, history and myths of Buenos Aires.
Hi, I'm Andreas. An Argentine born in Brazil. I am a musician and a lover of history and travel, especially on my motorcycle. One of my passions is history and that is why I want to show you through a free tour the rich history that this beautiful city has: the great Buenos Aires. Join me and I will show you all your secrets!
Tour description
In this free tour we will visit three iconic points of the beautiful city of Buenos Aires , the so-called Paris of South America. Through these three points I will tell you a little about the history of this great city.
First we will see the imposing Obelisk , the great photographed by all who come to visit us, its history and why the people of Buenos Aires did not want it at first.
Then we will walk Avenida Corrientes , the center of the theater in Buenos Aires and where we will see two iconic theaters and then pass through Florida pedestrian street, with all its shops and with a stopover at Galería Güemes , the great gallery in Buenos Aires and where he lived an emblematic character of our city.
Then we will go through the financial center of the city and we will see the Peru subway station, one of the first in Latin America.
The next step will be Plaza de Mayo , the heart of our city, with the Casa Rosada, the Cathedral of Buenos Aires with the mausoleum of José de San Martín, the Cabildo and all the history of this mythical square.
And we will finish in Puerto Madero , where we will see a bit of its history and we will finish the tour at the Puente de la Mujer .
You cannot miss this free tour where in just over 2 hours we will show you the most relevant of this beautiful city.

In the viewpoint of the obelisk, just below, is the post of the City Police. We will meet at that point. Also at that point is the yellow tourist bus from Buenos Aires. I will wear a black cap.
