The Paris of South America! Icons, history, and myths of Buenos Aires. Free Tour. (max 6 people)

On this free tour , we'll visit several iconic landmarks of the beautiful city of Buenos Aires , often called the Paris of South America. Along the way , I'll share some of the history of this great city.

First, we'll see the imposing Obelisk , the iconic landmark photographed by all our visitors, its history, and why it was resisted by the people of Buenos Aires. We'll also talk about one of the widest avenues in the world, Avenida 9 de Julio , our park-like avenue .

Then we will walk along Corrientes Avenue , our Broadway , the center of theater in Buenos Aires, where we will see several iconic theaters and talk about the city's culture, before passing through the pedestrianized Florida Street, with all its shops and with a stop at the Güemes Gallery , the great gallery of Buenos Aires and where an emblematic figure of our city lived.

Next, we'll pass through the city's financial district and arrive at Avenida de Mayo, the oldest avenue in the city. We'll see classic buildings along this iconic avenue, as well as the emblematic Pasaje Roverano. We'll also see the Perú subway station, home to the first subway line in Latin America.

The next step will be Plaza de Mayo , the heart of our city, with the Casa Rosada, the Buenos Aires Cathedral with the mausoleum of José de San Martín, the Cabildo and all the history of this mythical square.

And we'll finish in Puerto Madero , Buenos Aires' newest neighborhood, where we'll explore a bit of its history: the port that could have been, but wasn't. We'll end the tour at the Puente de la Mujer (Women's Bridge ).

Don't miss this free tour where in 3 and a half hours we will show you the most relevant aspects of this beautiful city.
