Guided Tour in Berlin: Rise and Fall of the Third Reich
Tour description
In this tour, we will explore the complex and fascinating history of the Nazi regime in Berlin. The German capital was the place where Hitler rose to power, it was the operations center for Nazi policies, and also the scene of the last European battle of the Second World War.
We will start at the Brandenburg Gate, a grand Prussian monument that the Nazis used as a stage for countless parades. From there, we will go to the Reichstag, the German parliament, the place where Hitler rose to power and which also served as a symbol of the Red Army's victory. We will cross part of the Tiergarten, Berlin's largest park, which hosts several memorials to the victims of Nazi violence and also to those heroes who rebelled against tyranny.
This path will lead us to the Jewish Memorial, a large concrete wound in the heart of Berlin. We will delve into this memorial and its abstract and unconventional design, and let ourselves be carried away by the sensations the memorial generates in us. As we approach the end of the war, we will visit Hitler's bunker, the place where the Nazi leader spent the last months of his life. And finally, we will visit the former Ministry of Propaganda, from where Joseph Goebbels published his incendiary pamphlets and manipulated the German people like a puppet master.
After six years of showing the streets of Berlin to tourists from all over the world, I can show you the secrets of this city better than anyone. I guarantee that by the end of this tour, you too will be an expert in the history of Nazi Germany. What are you waiting for?
