With a Greek passport but a Basque heart, I have loved Bilbao ever since I came here to visit the Guggenheim Museum, and I found the city of my dreams. The Free Tours give me the opportunity to meet new people and show them everything that I am passionate about in this town, the most beautiful in all of Spain. Join me on an alternative tour, and it is likely that you will also discover the beauty of the city, the so-called Bilbao Effect.

Tour description

Bilbao as a city born in 1300, in a small valley of just 3 medieval streets. Since then and for the next six centuries, the whole city gathers and develops maritime activity arounder the river, and now is called The Seven Streets. It's a small, dark, medieval town but also the biggest port in Northern Spain. Until the middle of the 19th century, here is where the history of Bilbao is created.
Together we'll visit:

- The Arriaga Theatre
- The Plaza Nueva
- The Unamuno Square
- The Seven Streets
- The Cathedral
- The Torre Building
- The street and the fountain of Perro
- The Biddebarieta Library
- And we'll finish our tour inside the Rivera Market.

The cost of the tour for each person is 20 euros, pay in cash only.

All my groups of guests are strictly limited to 9-10 person for a more personal and private tour and because of the Covid 19 measures. For that reason, please be punctual at the time and the place of our meeting, because of the limited bookings of every tour

Due to very heavy rain during our tour, Susan had to react and think of some orher ways to show the town to us. Which she did in a very nice and interesting way! Epharisto, Gracias and Danke!
