Viking Walking Tour
My name is Alex and I am a traveler and storyteller. As a tour guide I have performed in Latvia, Colombia, Peru and Sweden with over 7 years of experience. My passions are storytelling, acting and history (specially Viking age). I have been casted on several series aired on Netflix and traditional TV and performed with both large and small productions in Spain, Colombia and Peru. I am considered as very outgoing and charismatic human being valuing connection and quality of interaction.

During our 2 hour walking tour you will learn about what is the Viking age and why did it begin, how was the image of Vikings created and who were the real Vikings.
We will visit multiple locations in the old town and have brief insight on medieval Stockholm, yet those will be our stepping stones to find out more about the people we call Northmen.

During month of December while there is Christmas Market at our usual meeting point, we are meeting near the Iron Boy Look for a Viking with the shield! Listen for the horn!
The main Square of Stockholm and our meeting point right in front of Nobel Prize Museum by the well! It's where most of the trading have been going on throughout the history of the city and Vikings happened to be extraordinary traders...
Smallest sculpture you will find in the streets of Stockholm! There are legends about what will happen if you rub its head and leave an offering... vikings are surrounded by legends and vikings make offerings... find out what and why did we offer to the gods!

Kings, Queens, Jarls and kingdoms: axe and blood, aspirations and ambitions! Vikings were cowboys of the north, but what were we looking for while going overseas?
A telephone. Communication. Messages. We carved our runes in wood and bones and stones. A thousand years later we will look at the smss' vikings sent each other!
Garbage is an issue, always been, but the garbage from a thousand years ago is the treasure. What does archeology find when we find a viking waste?
The only runestone and actual viking related site you can find in old town. But the story just begins: there are over 3000 runestones to be known of. Many are unique. Let's hear what did vikings carved for us to still read about it today!
