Hi everyone and welcome to Vancouver!
In this tour, we will visit the oldest parts of Vancouver's modern city in both Gastown and Chinatown, while learning about Vancouvers indigenous communities.
Some of the tour highlights are:
- Vancouver City Centre
- Marine Building
- Walking down the streets of Gastown
- Gastown Steam clock
- Hearing about the great Vancouver fire
- Maple Square (old Gassy Jack statue)
- Exploring the history of Chinatown
- World's thinnest building.
- Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Garden (subject to hours of operation)
During the tour, I will be happy to answer all your questions, as well as the best-kept secrets that some locals don't even know.
Meeting location: šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl'e7énḵ Square at Vancouver Art Gallery (plaza off Georgia St). I will be standing at the bottom of the large staircase in a bright pink shirt.
