Zanzibar stone town is the last and only surviving coastal East African town that emerged in the last quarter of the 19th Century.
This was the biggest trade center in East Africa that drew the attention of almost everyone in the world. Therefore, it was then raised as a cosmopolitan city in East Africa.
Because of this, it led to the emergence of several cultures and traditions in Zanzibar which is now considered the most important part of Stone town and Zanzibar's history in general.
Therefore, on the Stone town tour, we shall provide you with full information about Zanzibar and Stone town's history, culture, traditions, and values of Zanzibar.
Not only that but also, we shall pass through every important and most visited monument in Stone town such as:

1. Freddy Mercury's house, is where Freddy Mercury was born

10. Former slave market site. This, which used to be the biggest slave market center in the world now an Anglican cathedral.
11. Darajani Bazaar. It's the public local market in stone town, with the local vendors, and a nice shopping place in spices, local fruits and so much more

Meet your guide in a beautiful waterfront park on the Stone Town seafront, with views of traditional dhows sailing by. The guests will experience the famous Forodhani Night Market. They can sample delicious, affordable Zanzibari street food like grilled seafood, Zanzibar pizza, and sugar cane juice. It's the perfect, lively introduction to Zanzibar.

House of Wonders
Guests will see a landmark ceremonial palace and the tallest building in Stone Town, facing the Forodhani Gardens on the seafront. Historical Significance Built in 1883 by Sultan Barghash bin Said. It was named "House of Wonders" because it was the first building in Zanzibar to have electricity and the first in East Africa to have an elevator.

Old Fort (Ngome Konge) Explore this 17th-century fort built by Omani Arabs. The inner courtyard now hosts shops, an amphitheater for cultural performances, and art galleries. Oldest building in Stone Town, free to enter, often has live music and dance shows.
