Moh'd took us around Stonetown and showed us the most important places. He knows a lot about the history of Zanzibar. But he also knows about the present, the culture, the people and so on. We saw a lot, asked a lot and Moh'd took enough time for it. Thank you!

We enjoyed the 9am tour with Nassor. It took around 1h30 and we were happy with the pace and number of stops. It included all of what we expected to see - most of the main historical buildings and you will see the edge of new town and the market. This part was nice because it is less touristy so you can admire the architecture without having to try to look beyond 1000x the same souvenirs shop. Be aware you do not really enter any sites/buildings due to entry cost or renovations (other than the market), so you just see them from the street. It's not the most detailed tour, but I'm sure Nassor would give more detail if requested as he answered all of our extra questions on the way (mostly about present day Zanzibar life). Thank you Nassor!

This tour is not for everyone. It involves going to some very isolated places with obstacles along the path. Our guide was very knowledgeable and good at talking about the places we passed along the way.
