Hi, I'm Ash, I've been living in Barcelona for 3 years and as a result of the pandemic I had to leave, but the captivating memory of Barcelona remained in my mind. And that is why I have returned and this time I want to share it with you, the most beautiful city for me that brings everything together. I love culture and history and being able to share it in different languages excites me a lot, since I speak 4 languages.
Barcelona the city of Barcelona, so called since in the 9th century, the entire north of Catalonia was a land of counts and counties.
On my tour we will be able to enjoy one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona, a site that meant the defense of the city and became a nightmare for its inhabitants.
A great tragedy that marked a before and after in the city, on my tour I will tell you the whole enchanted story!!!
So during the Tour we would do this route:
1-Plaza España: It is a great urban space to connect the city with the Montjuïc mountain and as a tribute to Spain, it was designed for the 1929 international exhibition.
2-National Palace: Currently home to the National Art Museum of Catalonia, it is located on the mountain of Montjuic.
3-Olympic Stadium: It was built for the 1992 Olympic Games. In this stadium, you can feel the excitement of Olympic sports.
4-Montjuïc Castle: a military fortification built in the 17th century that was used as a political prison during the Franco dictatorship.
To get to the castle of Montjuic we can use the bus.
