Free tour at Roc de Sant Gaietà (Roda de Barà, Tarragona)
Description
With this tour, we will explore an atypical village that over time has become a place with many different architectural styles from various regions of the Peninsula.
We will be able to walk through its streets, observing a Granadian courtyard, a Sevillian one, and portals and windows of Romanesque, Mudejar, Renaissance, and Mozarabic styles.
We will reach the rocks where the waves of the Mediterranean Sea break and see a cove with a family fishing port.
We will finish by stopping at the radio museum of the famous broadcaster Luis del Olmo, where I will invite you to enter to discover unique collection pieces and part of the history that has surrounded his popularity. The entrance to the museum is optional but highly recommended. It is a small museum with a lot of history.
The entrance fee is €3. Museum hours are from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 7:30 pm.
Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Closed on Mondays.
I encourage you to book with me. I'm sure this tour will captivate you and leave you surprised because there are no villages in Spain as atypical and yet with typical corners of our architectural styles.
I accept cash or Bizum payments.
