SAN TELMO: An authentic experience accompanied by a Profe in the place where tango was born.
Tour description
A History Professor with over 30 years of experience guides you over the cobblestones where the history of Buenos Aires wandered, from the foundational site of the first Buenos Aires to the tender magic of the sixties embodied in Mafalda. You will walk through cobblestone streets where tango was born, immigrants dreamed of another life, and today street artists make music with their souls.
If you want your FREE traditional MATE experience you must request it via WhatsApp.
This tour is an immersion into the oldest and most bohemian heart of Buenos Aires: San Telmo, a neighborhood that is not visited — it is felt.
What will we do together?
Walk on cobblestones that sound like drums, between walls that hold centuries of stories.
Immerse yourself in a unique historical tour guided by a history professor with over 30 years of experience. You will discover the untold stories hidden in the tenements, squares, and cafes.
In this cultural tour, we will walk through the streets where our identity was forged, sharing an authentic experience in small groups to ensure personalized interaction and moments of reflection.
As a specialized guide, I will accompany you to enjoy a living page of our history: Talking about the tango that was born in the patios, the candombe that resonates on the corners, the immigrants who arrived after the yellow fever of 1871 and transformed decay into art.
