I invite you to enjoy an authentic free tour through some of the most charming and iconic corners of Sucre, where you will learn about the city’s history, gastronomy, anecdotes, traditions, and symbols that make the White City truly unique. If you wish, you will also have the chance to taste local delicacies at the Central Market, all within a friendly, dynamic, and enriching experience.
Our tour begins at Plaza 25 de Mayo, where you will discover the history behind the main monuments and historic buildings surrounding the city’s central square. From there, we will walk toward the University, appreciating its architecture and historical importance.
We will then continue to the Central Market, a vibrant and lively place where you will explore the variety of local fruits, flavors, traditional dishes, and Bolivian traditions. After leaving the market, we will start a walk with several stops on the way to the La Recoleta Viewpoint.
Along the route, we will wander through historic alleyways, visit the oldest church in Sucre, and listen to local myths, legends, and anecdotes that bring the city’s identity to life.
We will end the tour at the La Recoleta Viewpoint, where you can enjoy stunning views of this beautiful colonial city and its surroundings.
