Paris in World War 2: A Walking Tour

Thom was a great tour guide. The tour was so interesting and informational as he was a wonderful guide and so personable. I highly recommend this tour and Thom specifically. I hope to find another tour with Thom in the future - I would definitely sign up

I did this tour on a personal vacation and it was simply one of the best that I’ve taken over my years. I take University students abroad and have taken at least 50+ tours/walks of this kind, and this one stands out. Thom was thoughtful, knowledgeable, clever, and engaging. He was patient and calm with questions that could have slowed down the group. While there were many a detail about the history of France and WW2, there was a full story that I took away about what people experienced, what motivated them to both comply and resist, as well as some perspectives of the German soldiers. Lots of perspective beyond dates and what happened :) He created understanding and empathy across the participants. Thom was simply fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to take any other tour topic with him.

Thom is a funny guy who kept a good pace during the tour. We definitely learned some interesting facts and had a nice walk outside.
