Tour description
Do you feel like discovering the Costa de la Luz in a different way? I propose a tour through the Loma de Sancti Petri, a very pleasant trail from which we will understand how this particular corner of Chiclana has been formed.
For 1 hour and 30 minutes, we will walk through natural landscapes and places full of history. We will talk about the origins of La Barrosa beach, how Novo Sancti Petri was born, and life in the old fishing village of Sancti Petri. We will also tell the story of the famous Castle of Sancti Petri, its uses, and its role throughout the centuries. Additionally, we will see what the Phoenicians were doing here, what the watchtowers were for, and what happened in the area during the French invasions of the 19th century.
It is a simple route, designed to enjoy and learn without rush, ideal for all types of audiences and perfect both in the morning and in the afternoon.
