Fouad was a great guide. He gave us an authentic tour through Chefchaouen. We could ask all of our questions regarding culture, language outdoor activities. He knows so many people and introduced us to them, so it was nice to meet them again after the tour.

He took us to spectacular locations and even took photos for us. He was patient and kind. He loved his job, his city and was happy to share that excitement with us. He even bought us cookies. His recommendation for dinner was great, too.

Candelaria offers a relaxed chilled walking tour. If hitting all the touristy spots at fast pace is your thing, then this may not suit you. Our walk in Chefchaouen with Candelaria was a wonderful experience. From the start, she gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel like we were exploring the city with a local friend rather than a guide. She showed us the most beautiful spots and even invited us to her home for coffee, which made the experience truly special. She also kindly let us leave our bags with her until the evening — a huge help that allowed us to enjoy the city without stress. If you’re thinking about booking this walk, don’t hesitate. Very intresting tour of chefchouen and our guide still managed to make it good in the rain.

We had Javier as our guide and he was brilliant at teaching us about the history of this amazing place as well as showing all the lovely hidden treasures that were amazing to see. Definitely recommend.

Our guide Amina was very lovely, had great knowledge of Chefchaoune esp the medina area, took us through all the windy alleys where we would have otherwise gotten lost by ourselves. Also she gave us lots of information and interesting facts. We got to taste some hot street caliente which was delicious, and lots & lots of photographs! So many photographic opportunities as the streets are just beautiful. Great tour, one hour was perfect amount of time.

At the last minute our guide was changed to a guide called Saad who was very knowledgeable, informative, spoke good English, a first class guide, thank you Saad

We arrived early as instructed and messaged the guide the day before to confirm. Unfortunately, the guide did not show up or notify us. After we contacted her, she replied saying she had a family emergency and could meet up later. While we understand emergencies happen, better communication would have been appreciated

Mou is an incredible guide, very kind, polite and highly qualified. Getting to know a place through the eyes of a local is one of the best experiences one can have, especially with someone who grew up in Chefchaouen. He is extremely well qualified, with three degrees, and has witnessed and lived through the city’s transformations. It was a pleasure to take this tour with Mou, and I would happily do it many more times. The only problem was two American tourists who joined the tour. They were very rude and ill-mannered, shouting and interrupting the guide all the time, a typical attitude of American tourists who think they are the centre of the world. Even so, Mou remained very polite and handled the situation with great kindness.

Nice tour not rushed. Spoke English well we learned a lot about the local area and the history. Kind and polite guide. Easy to ask him questions, nice sense of humour.
