We have set up this Tour aiming to create a different concept; it is to make you savor the essence of Marrakech and discover the hidden side of our beloved city. Our intention is to show you Marrakech through local eyes and tell you what lies behind its doors.

🟢 The architecture of the Islamic Medina: You will discover the secrets of the Medina's architecture with its main components. You will also learn about the architecture of the Muslim neighborhood and its division between public and intimate parts. 

🔴 The Moroccan cultural diversity: You will live a completely different experience through a journey in time, taking you to those hidden places and corners, touring its typical neighborhoods and focusing on the elements that make up the Moroccan cultural identity; the Berber, the Arab, the Andalusian, and the Jewish (the Tuchavim and the Sephardim).

🟡 The important elements of the Muslim neighborhood: You will get an idea about the architecture of the Muslim neighborhood that corresponds to the social and spiritual needs of the inhabitants.

🏛️ About the itinerary: 

📍The experience always starts from the beginning: You will learn about the origins of the Medina of Marrakech and the reasons for choosing this strategic site, then we will go through the different dynasties that ruled in Marrakech and marked the history of this city.

📍The Koutoubia Mosque: The emblem of the city of Marrakech, a construction that has withstood the test of time, dating back to the Almohad era, reminiscent of the time of books and manuscripts of the 12th century.

📍Moul Laksour Neighborhood: One of the oldest neighborhoods in the city of Marrakech, a privileged neighborhood for having the tomb of the Alfaqui Abdula El Ghazouani.

📍Mouassin Neighborhood: A neighborhood dating back to the Saadian era, where you can clearly see the daily life of the Medina.

📍The Craft Guilds: A hidden area deep within the Medina, a part where you can see the different Moroccan craft trades that are still done by hand to this day.

📍The Leather Auction: Right after the guilds, you will discover one of the oldest activities in the Medina, which is still organized every day to this day.

📍Ben Youssef Neighborhood: A neighborhood dating back to the time of Ali Ben Youssef, the son of the founder of Marrakech, where you will learn about the three historical monuments of this neighborhood, the Almoravid Alcove, the Ben Youssef Mosque, and the Ben Youssef Madrasa. 

📍The Souk: The world of colors and scents, a fascinating space where the colors of fabrics mix with the scents of spices and incense, a creative, spiritual, and aesthetic dimension of artisanal items.

📍Andalusian Neighborhood: Now called Riad Azaitun neighborhood, it was the neighborhood where the Andalusians who came to settle in Marrakech lived, an opportunity to learn about the impact and civilizational contribution of the Moors in Marrakech.

📍Jewish Neighborhood: Known as the Melah neighborhood, it was the neighborhood where Moroccan Jews lived and still live, in this neighborhood you will discover another cultural component and get an idea about the Jewish-Moroccan heritage.

📍The Bahia Palace: It was a palace where the great Vizier Ba Hamad Ben Mousa, the prime minister of the 19th century, lived, a true example of a manor house, it was his home where he lived with his family and servants. It is an architectural work in the Hispano-Moorish style, and an authentic design of what Riad architecture is.

📍Badi Palace: A palace built by Sultan Ahmad Al Mansour Eddahbi, in the northeastern part of the Kasbah, a construction that reflects the dimension of power and the characteristics of Islamic art.

📍Jamaa El Fna Square: It is a magical space in the city of Marrakech, a square that never sleeps, a gathering of storytellers, snake charmers, monkey charmers, traditional musicians, food stalls, and more…

• The guide will offer you all the information, advice, and recommendations that will make your stay in Marrakech easier and more enjoyable. 
• They will indicate the places where you can enter and the places where you cannot.
• The Tour is an opportunity to get an idea about the historical monuments from the outside, for example; the Ben Youssef Madrasa, Bahia Palace, Badi Palace, and the Koutoubia Mosque.
• We will explain all the activities and attractions worth doing in Marrakech.
