From royal favourites and disastrous kings to naval heroes, revolutionaries and wartime leaders, we'll explore who ruled Britain, who misruled it, who defended it, and who challenged it.
Along the way we'll uncover hidden corners of Westminster and St James's, visit London's oldest wine bar, and discover why so much of Britain's history is best told with a drink in hand.
Pubs are entirely optional, but highly recommended. This is history told through unforgettable stories, colourful characters and the streets where it all happened.
