Tour on the Other Side of the River Thames: Theater, Prisons, and Executions

In this tour, we will start by exploring St. Paul's Cathedral and head south of the river, away from the authority of the City, to the cultural and historical legacy of Southwark. 

Iconic London bridges, Shakespeare and the world of Elizabethan theater, and we will visit old taverns where criminals and sailors shared shipwreck stories. 

We will learn about the oldest prison where torture was routine and cemeteries that reflect the city's evolution. 

We will also walk through iconic streets and buildings that have been the setting for important events and traditions, ending with a walk that will connect us with the past and present of London. 

We will finish at The Queen's Walk, and you will understand why it was Queen Elizabeth's favorite walk.
