Tour description

Hi! I’m Jean-Simon, a newly certified local guide who loves history, architecture, and storytelling. I’m currently offering this evening walking tour for free as part of my launch and practice period.

Join me for a fun and relaxed walk through Old Quebec as the sun goes down. It’s a great way to explore and learn about Quebec City with few crowds and a calm, peaceful vibe.

We’ll visit beautiful spots like Rue du Trésor, the City Hall Gardens, Governors Park, Dufferin Terrace, and Place Royale. In the evening, the city is quieter and even more magical.

Let’s explore the charm of Old Quebec together—by twilight!

Highlights

What will we see on this tour?

Meeting point:
50-80 Rue Sainte-Anne, Québec, QC G1R 3X4, Canada
We’ll meet at Parc de l’Hôtel de Ville, just next to Quebec City Hall. Look for me with a green umbrella!
1
Outside visit
Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville
We begin our tour in this quiet and beautiful square in the heart of Old Quebec. Around us are important buildings like City Hall and the Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica. This area was once full of markets and public events. Now, it’s a peaceful place and the perfect starting point for our walk.
2
Outside visit
Rue du Trésor
This small street feels like an open-air art gallery. Local artists display and sell their paintings along the walls. In the evening, the quiet atmosphere and soft lights make this place feel even more magical.
3
Outside visit
Governor's Park
This peaceful park gives us a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River. From here, you can see the water stretching far into the distance, with ships passing by and Lévis on the other side. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the breeze, take photos, and feel the connection between Quebec City and the river.
