Tour description

Step into a hidden side of Bandung where incense meets call to prayer, lanterns hang above narrow alleys, and history whispers from every corner. This cultural walking tour takes you through the city’s Chinatown a vibrant blend of Chinese temples, heritage museums, and even a Chinese style mosque. 

We’ll start at Vihara Satya Budhi, one of Bandung’s oldest temples, rich in color, stories, and symbolism. From there, we explore Chinatown Museum, filled with antiques and Instagram-worthy alleys. Just a short walk away, we arrive at Masjid Al-Imtizaj, a stunning fusion of Chinese and Islamic architecture a symbol of harmony. 

Along the way, you’ll hear untold stories, discover hidden gems, and possibly enjoy a local snack or coffee stop depending on the group’s mood.

We begin at one of Bandung's oldest and most peaceful Chinese temples. Learn about local rituals, temple architecture, and community history. FREE ENTRY Time: ~25 minutes

Right behind the temple Explore lantern-filled alleys, Chinese heritage exhibits, and street photo spots. Optional visit to the museum (small entrance fee applies, around IDR 10k-20k/people). Time: ~30–40 minutes

A rare Chinese-style mosque blending Islamic and Tionghoa architecture. Learn about interfaith harmony and Bandung’s multicultural roots. To go to this mosque, we can walk about 1.2 km or (optional) we can also take Grabcar (cheap cost). Time: ~15–20 minutes
