We have learned a lot during the tour with Anam. He knows a lot about Bandung and Indonesia. He didn’t get tired of answering a lot of random of questions regardless if it’s historical or current events. I also appreciated that we get to see the authentic side of Bandung that I dont think I would see on my own.

We had a great time, it was really nice to hear more about the history of Bandung that is so close related to the Netherlands and to get a better understanding of the city. Anam knew a lot about the city and could answer all our questions! We would really recommend this guruwalk!!

This tour was extremely interesting. Anam's English was as strong as his knowledge of the history of Bandung and Indonesia. No matter what I asked he was able to answer. We visited the Dutch colonial sites, the main market and Braga shopping street. These tours are great for finding out-of-the-way hole-in-the-wall places we would never normally see. Thanks to Anam for an interesting morning!

Anam was a wonderful tour guide. His route is very well curated with great information at each stop. He is very easy to get along with and has a wealth of knowledge of the area. The tour covers most of the major sites in Bandung plus many hidden gems like the local market and a puppetmaker shop. I loved this experience and cannot recommend it enough!

What a surprise! Although I have done about 10 GuruWalks within the last 3 years, i was more than positively surprised: - Anam did organize the tour although we were only 2 ! - the was supposed to take 4 hours… it is was so entertaining and interesting that time passed by without noticing - Anam shows you places that are off the beaten track I highly recommend his tour !

Anam was a fabulous guide. Super personable and really loved his insights into his city and Indonesia as a whole. He was very knowledgeable and also really down to earth and easy to get along with. I just loved how he is and his personality. He has a great passion for his country which really shines when he talks about it. I truly loved this tour and recommend this highly to anyone coming to Bandung. You're really missing out if you come to Bandung and not go on this tour with Anam. So so good.

The tour with Anam was amazing. Normally, I get quite bored after 1,5 hours, but Anams tour stayed interesting from the beginning to the end. He is very polite, kind, respectful but most of all knowledgeable. He shared a lot of information about Bandung and knew all the answers on my questions about Bandung, Indonesia and the colonial history. And besides, his tour had a good amount of variety. I am not going to spoil everything that we did, but I can only tell you that it was an amazing tour and I highly recommend!

This tour was very informative and interesting. I liked that we started out with a historical discussion and learned so much about the history of Bandung. The second part of the tour focuses on the market, the mosque and the puppet maker and was very interesting as well. I highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful walking tour in Bandung! The pace of the tour was just right (relaxed enough to really take everything in, but also very complete). We got to see many sides of the city and learned a lot along the way. Our guide, Anam, is excellent!! He has deep knowledge of the city and history, and he was able to answer every question. There was plenty of time for questions and interaction. The group was small, which made the tour feel very personal and comfortable. Anam speaks English very well, and for Dutch visitors it’s a fun bonus that he also knows many Dutch words and a lot about the shared history. We can highly recommend this tour. Don’t hesitate to book it! It’s both fun and very educational, and a great way to discover Bandung.

Aman was very kind and speaks very good Englisch. He knew al lot of the history and he knew al lot of the background of the people we meet. He took time to answers my guestions about all kind of subjects. It was a big surprise for me, that he knew a lot of the politics in Nederland. He showed me places I would have not found by my self! I had an amazing time on this walking tour with Anam! Anam speaks impeccable English and is incredibly knowledgeable, being able to answer all my questions whether related to the tour or not. He shares lots of history about Bandung and included places on the route that I never would've gone on my own - including the local bus! The stop at the puppet makers was especially touching, being able to meet the now 71yo (!!) in charge and learn about the generations behind the family business. Most importantly Anam was super friendly and I truly enjoyed spending my morning with him. I couldn't recommend this walking tour with him enough!
