Scenic Hikes in Costa Quebrada

I’m María, a certified Mountain Guide and passionate about living life to the fullest. I have spent years exploring not only the majestic landscapes of Cantabria and the Picos de Europa, but also wild coasts of Australia and Tasmania, historic trails of the United Kingdom, waves of Central America, mountains of Asia and South America, and cultures of many different countries. These experiences have taught me that nature is not just scenery—it is also people, connection, and presence. With a background in Sports Science and a Master’s in Injury Prevention, I combine technical knowledge with deep care for every person I accompany in the mountains. I speak fluent English, and my international experience allows me to understand the needs, expectations, and cultural sensitivities of travelers from all over the world. I believe that hiking is much more than just walking. It is also an inner experience—a moment of silence, a space to connect with yourself, with nature, and with those around you. Whether climbing a rocky ridge or resting by a river, my goal is for every route to also be a small personal journey.
