Free History and Nature Tour of the Prado
Tour description
This tour is a scenic experience that encompasses knowledge about the geography, flora, fauna, the founding and historical development of the Prado neighborhood to the present day, and the historical and cultural heritage of the part of the Uruguayan Latin American population that is descended from the European Latin populations Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese, and from the British and Irish European populations that settled both in the Prado neighborhood, as well as in the rest of the City of Montevideo, and gave rise to the regional folkloric cultural identity.
The majority of this part of the Uruguayan Latin American population belongs to the current ethnic Latin Celtic populations Friulian-Venetian Julian, Lombard, Piedmontese, French, Asturian, Galician and Portuguese, and the current ethnic Scottish and Irish Celtic populations.
