Tour description
The Feliz Lusitânia Complex represents the historic center of Belém and brings together some of the city’s oldest buildings, dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries. The tour includes visits to Forte do Presépio, Igreja de Santo Alexandre, Igreja da Sé and Casa das Onze Janelas, sites that help tell the story of the founding and development of the city.
The experience begins at Forte do Presépio, the city’s first fortification, featuring a historical collection and views of the river, the Ver-o-Peso market, and its surroundings.
Next, the Igreja de Santo Alexandre highlights the influence of the Catholic Church and also serves as the Museum of Sacred Art.
The Metropolitan Cathedral, the starting point of the Círio de Nazaré procession, stands out for its architecture and religious significance.
The tour ends at Casa das Onze Janelas, a cultural space with exhibitions and one of the most beautiful views in Belém.
Important detail: tickets for Casa das Onze Janelas, Forte do Presépio and Igreja de Santo Alexandre are not included. Each one is R$ 4, less than US$ 1.
