I have done probably over 30 free walking tours around the world and this was definitely one that falls in the top 3. Javier was EXCELLENT.

Javier did a very good job. He shared facts that were interesting. We got to taste Colombian fruits, which was very enjoyable. We also lucked into taking the tour along with a very pleasant couple.

An excellent introduction to Santa Marta its food, its history and current day activities. The tour was during Labour Day but this didn’t affect Javier’s enthusiasm and knowledge. Lots of places visited and restaurants recommended
