The Artistic Paris of Montparnasse
The tour goes through the historic district of Montparnasse which, between the two world wars, saw a whole generation of artists who marked much of the 20th century with their work pass along its boulevards and in its grand cafés. From André Breton to Prévert, from Ezra Pound to Ernest Hemingway, from Henry Miller to Anaïs Nin and Simone de Beauvoir.
We will discover the places where these artists lived and worked. Hidden houses in little-frequented streets and bistros that have gone down in history like the Dome, the Coupole, the Select. All this mixing history with legend, human and literary passion. A suggestive and unforgettable walk in one of the symbolic places of Parisian memory.
The tour lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes
Available in English, French and Italian

Tours since 2025A tireless traveler, a lover of languages and the infinite diversity of human culture, I've lived in several European capitals, including Berlin, Athens, and—currently—Paris. A graduate in contemporary history, a writer, journalist, songwriter, and screenwriter, I've explored writing in various forms, but have never yet managed to become a millionaire. :) I've worked several seasons as a tour leader and guide, both in Italy and abroad.
