The City of London is full of big names: the Tower, Monument, Bank... But just seconds away from the crowds, it slips into something completely different.
On this walk, we’ll start at the Tower of London and make our way through a network of quiet lanes, alleys and tucked-away corners that most people walk straight past. These spaces might feel hidden today, but they’ve played a huge role in shaping the London we know now.
I won’t give everything away beforehand part of this walk is about discovering these places as they reveal themselves. What I can say is that along the way, we’ll move between moments of calm and chaos, step in and out of the past, and see how the smaller, overlooked streets connect to the bigger story of the city.
We’ll finish at Bank, right in the heart of the modern financial district and by that point, you’ll see it a little differently. This is a walk about contrast, detail, and those moments where London quietly reveals itself.
