Tour description
Discover Greenwich from every perspective on this carefully tailored walking tour through one of London’s most historic and picturesque areas. We meet by the iconic Cutty Sark, the legendary 19th-century tea clipper that tells the story of Britain’s maritime power and global trade.
From there, we explore the fascinating Greenwich Foot Tunnel, an Edwardian engineering marvel beneath the River Thames offering a unique riverside perspective. We continue to the elegant Water Gate, once the royal river entrance to Greenwich, where monarchs arrived in grand style.
Walking into the magnificent grounds of the Old Royal Naval College, you’ll hear stories of kings, queens, naval heroes, and architectural genius. Inside, we visit the beautiful Chapel of St Peter and St Paul, a hidden gem of stunning design and history.
We then experience the vibrant atmosphere of Greenwich Market, full of character, local crafts, and delicious street food. Our journey continues to the elegant Queen's House, a masterpiece of classical architecture, and the world-renowned National Maritime Museum, where Britain’s seafaring story comes to life.
Finally, we climb through beautiful Greenwich Park to the famous Royal Observatory Greenwich, standing on the Prime Meridian — the very line where Greenwich Mean Time was created and where east meets west.
This tour blends royal heritage, maritime history, local culture, hidden stories, and breathtaking views — all in one unforgettable Greenwich experience.
