Tarragona Historic "More than 2,000 years of stories"

I am a native guide from Tarragona and one day I thought I should create a tour that was somewhat different from the rest, more original and interactive so that walkers of any age or intellect could understand the historical richness of this city.

We start the tour at the Mediterranean Balcony. A postcard image, where we will navigate to the beginning of the history of Tarraco.

We will continue to the Amphitheater, where we will learn about the distractions of the Roman people and their gladiator fights.

Our next stop will be the Roman Circus. We will experience an exciting and unique show of the era. We will go to see the Tower of the Pretorians and its different uses over 2,000 years.

We will proceed to see a part of the Roman and medieval wall, within whose stones there will be many stories to tell.

We will move into the old town until we reach the building from the modernist era and the current offices and rectorate of the Rovira i Virgili University; we will learn about its architecture and its original use.

We continue our little journey to observe two buildings: the old Seminary and the Archbishop's Palace.

Next, we approach the facade of the cathedral, with Romanesque and Gothic art, to explain the details of its facade, but also stories and fables from its interior.

Our little journey comes to an end at the Forum square, a social place for discussions and ancient conspiracies.
