Tour description
This free tour in Spanish takes you through the most authentic Shibuya, combining history, culture and unique contrasts that no tourist guide mentions.
We begin at the statue of Hachiko, a symbol of loyalty that moved all of Japan and continues to bring together millions of people every day.
From there we crossed the Scramble Crossing, where up to 3,000 people cross at the same time without colliding.
We entered Nonbei Yokocho, the alley of the drunks, a corner of the Showa era with more than 40 small bars that survived the real estate boom of the 80s.
We continue through Shibuya Yokocho, a 100-meter passage with 19 food stalls representing different regions of Japan.
We went up to the rooftop of Miyashita Park to enjoy a panoramic view of Shibuya, where a park, fashion shops and a climbing wall coexist in a single building.
Then we'll descend Cat Street and end at Meiji Shrine, a forest of 100,000 trees planted just 100 years ago in the heart of Tokyo. A finale that contrasts sharply with everything that came before: from urban chaos to sacred silence.
Free tour, based on voluntary tips.
Duration: 2 hours.
