A boating adventure on the Soča Lake

Odlična izkušnja od začetka do konca! Gorast je izjemen vodič – sproščen, prijazen in poln znanja, o okolici, naravi in zgodovini ... vse skupaj začinjeno s humorjem in šalami, ki jih bomo zagotovo še dolgo ponavljali. Poseben plus je bila glasba med veslanjem – res odlična izbira, ki je ustvarila super vzdušje in poseben vibe. Ko smo pristali, nas je pričakal še okusen narezek, kar je bila res lepa pika na i. Zelo mi je bilo všeč tudi, da smo imeli veliko možnosti za postanke – od čudovitih samotnih plaž do bolj živahnih kotičkov z več dogajanja. Tako si lahko vsak najde nekaj zase, ne glede na to, ali si želi miru in sprostitve ali malo bolj živahnega vzdušja. Toplo priporočam. Odlična organizacija, vrhunska energija in izkušnja, ki jo z veseljem ponovim!

Čudovit izlet. Veslanje s kanujem v neokrnjeni naravi. Izjemen vodič. Soča je še lepša, kot jo vidiš na fotografijah. Obilo dobre volje in super izkušnja, pestro fedtivalsko vzdušje je naredilo dan še bolj poseben.

Our canoe safari on the Soča River was an absolute highlight! The scenery is spectacular—paddling through that crystal-clear, emerald-green water surrounded by breathtaking mountain views felt like being inside a movie. The entire trip was incredibly well-organized. The guide was professional, friendly, and made everyone feel completely safe and comfortable from start to finish. An excellent trip, absolutely to recommend!

Canoeing on the Soča River with Gorazd was a truly wonderful experience. The river was clean, crystal-clear and glowing in its famous emerald colour. From the canoe, we discovered hidden corners of the valley that cannot be seen from the road, while Gorazd brought the landscape to life with local history, fascinating stories and amusing anecdotes. Somehow, with him, even history seems to paddle along effortlessly. Although my arm had been hurting, during the trip I completely forgot about the pain. The beauty of the river, the rhythm of the paddle, the laughter and Gorazd’s calm, warm presence took over. The experience was simply too enjoyable for discomfort to remain the centre of attention. The Soča is refreshingly cold in upper stream—as a proper alpine river should be—but in the lake, the water was perfectly pleasant for swimming. Brave people may call the rest “refreshing”; the less brave may call it an excellent natural cryotherapy treatment. And here is the little anchor this journey left behind: whenever I now see the emerald colour of the Soča, hear water touching a paddle or simply think of Gorazd, the same feeling returns—a smile, a sense of freedom and the certainty that an excursion with Gorazd is pure pleasure. Thank you, guru Gorazd, for your knowledge, kindness, humour and love for the Soča Valley. You did not merely guide us along the river—you helped us experience it with all our senses and carry a little piece of it home with us.
