Secrets of Lucca was not as expected. Maybe should have chosen a general history of Lucca tour, which was probably our mistake.

What was great about this tour is that we didn't just visit the obvious places. It is called 'the secrets of Lucca', and secrets we got. As well as a guide who brought the information to us with a healthy dose of humour!

Great tour - saw things wouldn’t have noticed without guide

Great introduction to the city of Lucca, it brought to life a couple of the churches (there are many of them, so easy to get confused). Guide very informative on the role of Napoleon and his sister.

I had a great time on the tour. Sergio was very informative and made us all feel welcome. He tailored the tour to the different people and linking it back to where we all came from, We visited a number of major areas and it was great to hear about the history of Lucca. I would definitely recommend the tour.

Unfortunately did not go ahead but the guide was very kind and give plenty of notice to cancelling

Some very entertaining facts and stories. Was expecting the usual recommendations after tour of local restaurants/bars etc but didn't get any.

Sergio gave us an informative and interesting introduction to Lucca which we enjoyed very much and would have loved to listen to him for another hour as he had so many anecdotes

If you are lucky enough to get Dr. Sergio Puglisi as your tour guide, you will enjoy a wealth of information on the history of Lucca. Excellent tour guides likes this man are rare! I would highly recommend the tour as you will develop a greater appreciation for the city you are in.

A fabulous insight in to Lucca. A great way to see all of the important places and learn about the history in a fun way.
