Hicimos un tour por varios templos y la puerta del este con Pailin y nos gustaron mucho los templos. Es impresionante todo lo que se puede ver de templos en esta ciudad, Pailin nos conto un poco la historia de la ciudad y del reino de Lanna y entramos a 3/4 templos que fueron muy lindos. Ella sabía tomar buenas fotos y nos ayudaba a entender todo de la cultura budista, lo que fue muy interesante. En general me gustó mucho, solo pienso que me Habría gustado un poco más organizado la hora de contar la historia de la ciudad y en general de lanna y Tailandia

Tour muy interesante para conocer la ciudad y cultura de Chiang Mai. Nuestro guía Rung nos ha explicado todo con mucho detalle y en un español perfecto, sin duda hemos disfrutado la experiencia gracias a él. Recomendio totalmente este tour y, si tienes la suerte de coincidir con Rung, mucho mejor!

Highly recommend doing the tour with Pailin! She was very informative, considerate & caring (we had a 5yr old and she was quite friendly towards him). Also the only walking tour where the guide bought snacks for everyone :-)

Wir haben mit Faan eine wirklich interessante Tour durch Chiang Mai unternommen und dabei spannende Einblicke in die Kultur, die Tempel und die buddhistischen Traditionen Nordthailands erhalten. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Auswahl der Tempel, die uns unterschiedliche Facetten der Religiosität nähergebracht haben. Auch wenn wir nicht immer alles auf Anhieb verstanden haben, konnten wir jederzeit nachfragen. Faan war dabei sehr sympathisch und hat sich Zeit für unsere Fragen genommen. Ein besonderes Erlebnis war, dass unsere Tour genau auf das Ende der buddhistischen Regenzeit fiel. So konnten wir die Feierlichkeiten mit den Mönchen miterleben und sogar eine Segnung erhalten. Ohne einen Guide hätten wir diese Traditionen sicherlich nicht auf die gleiche Weise kennengelernt. Genau deshalb schätze ich die Touren über GuruWalk: Man entdeckt nicht nur die Sehenswürdigkeiten einer Stadt, sondern bekommt auch die Möglichkeit, tiefer in ihre Kultur und Geschichte einzutauchen. Vielen Dank, lieber Faan, für die interessante Einführung in Chiang Mai, die „Rose des Nordens“! Wir hatten viel Spaß und nehmen einige schöne Eindrücke mit.

The walk with Faan was really great, he’s so nice and I’ve learned a lot from him. It was also a great route and he provided umbrella’s for the heat and water, really amazing, I really enjoyed and recommend!

pailin is an awesome guide and she has a global view on everything, which makes interactions lovely. i would recommend her to anyone who visits Chiang ai for the 1st time. Also there is one caitionary thing, her energy is infectious and it will grow on you.

Palin is sweet and brings good energy. She gave a lot of information about thai culture but not specific about what we were looking at and some of the long stops felt drawn out with some needless information.

We greatly enjoyed our tour with Pailin and learnt lots about Buddhism, well as Lanna culture. We had already visited some temples prior to the tour, but going with Pailin gave us an understanding of what we were actually looking at which gave us a much better appreciation of the culture.
