And it’s not just for those interested in a critical examination of colonial history—which continues to this day—but for anyone who is truly interested in this place. You’ll see the city through different eyes. Rubin impresses with his extensive knowledge, explains the context clearly and passionately, and is open to questions. It was the most memorable activity I did in Cape Town. Thank you, Rubin!
Reuben gives a very thorough and frank history of Cape Town and in fact South Africa. He was extremely knowledgeable and aware of how the history has shaped Capetown. He was informative and thought provoking. A really excellent guide. We were very pleased to have him as our guide.
