⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Kuala Lumpur Experience with Ramesh! Today I joined the free walking tour with Ramesh, and it was truly one of the best ways to experience Kuala Lumpur. From start to finish, the tour was incredibly well-organized, insightful, and full of cultural depth. Our journey began at the magnificent Batu Caves. Seeing the towering golden statue of Lord Murugan and climbing the 272 colorful steps was already impressive! but Ramesh’s explanations about Hindu traditions and the cultural importance of the site made it even more meaningful. We then explored the historic Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, where Ramesh beautifully explained the blend of Moorish and colonial architecture and how it reflects Malaysia’s layered history. At Kasturi Walk, we enjoyed a fun and delicious introduction to local flavors from crispy keropok lekor to refreshing cendol and freshly made putu bamboo. Ramesh didn’t just point out the food he explained the cultural background behind each dish, which made the tasting experience even richer. Walking along the scenic River of Life, we learned how the Klang and Gombak rivers shaped the birth of Kuala Lumpur. The storytelling here was exceptional connecting history with modern development. At Merdeka Square, standing where Malaysia declared independence in 1957, Ramesh shared powerful historical insights that truly brought the moment to life. The surrounding landmarks like the Sultan Abdul Samad Building made it even more atmospheric. We also admired the elegant Victoria Fountain, the prestigious Royal Selangor Club, the peaceful St Mary’s Cathedral, and finally the stunning Masjid Jamek, where the city was founded. What made this tour outstanding was Ramesh himself knowledgeable, passionate, patient, and very engaging. He answered every question with depth and clarity, mixing history, culture, architecture, religion, and modern Malaysian life seamlessly. It felt less like a tour and more like walking through the city with a very knowledgeable friend. If you’re visiting Kuala Lumpur and want to truly understand the city beyond just photos, I highly recommend this tour with Ramesh. It’s informative, authentic, and absolutely worth your time. Thank you, Ramesh, for such an enriching experience! 🙏
The tour was great , the guide was knowledgeable. I asked the guide how much will be a proper tip , since you guys advertised that is just a tip , but , he had a set price of $120 RM per person which make your tour misleading when you advertise is free and is wherever amount we want to tip . The tour guide requested from me $240 RM saying that will include the train tickets go and back to the caves , and the food ( what really was a tasting of fruit in the central market ). If you toll me I have to pay $120 RM per person in front , I wouldn’t mind to pay , but , DO NOT MISLEAD PEOPLE SAYING THAT IS FREE !! I took this free tours in Budapest and that is really a free tour , you just give a fair amount to the guide .
SK è una guida molto preparata con grande conoscenza della materia ...trasforma una semplice visita in una esperienza immersiva... è stato molto gentile e disponibile durante tutto il tour...sicuramente il meglio per la visita alle Batu Cave...grazie
Batu cave with a tour guide was worth the expense. Our guide explained the the various temples and the tradition of worship which made the visit not just a photo op but a cultural experience. I would recommend going to the fascinating places in kuala lumpar your first because this tour builds on the information from that tour to provide a deeper understanding of Hinduism. The food stop was good and I enjoyed it as well
A very informative and enjoyable visit to Batu Caves, followed by guided sightseeing and delicious food-tasting. It was good to take the train and find out more about the sights and ask questions. Thiva is a very knowledgeable guide and made everything accessible and interesting. I learned a great deal about Malaysia!
