Maria was incredibly warm, kind, and knowledgeable. I learned so much from this tour. Because of the cold weather, I ended up being the only person on the tour, yet Maria still spent the entire three hours with me, enduring the cold right alongside me without ever rushing or cutting anything short. Her explanations about communism in Romania were insightful and meaningful, but what made the experience truly special were the personal stories she shared about older generations and how that period shaped everyday life. Those stories brought history to life in a way no book ever could. This was a deeply enriching and memorable experience. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you want to truly understand Romania beyond the surface.
