Shivum is an excellent guide, he took us on the train to Chowpatty beach where we tasted 4 generous portions of streetfood then onto a couple of bazaars for me food, finishing off with delicious ice cream. So much food!!!! Do not eat lunch or dinner as you will not appreciate it! Shivum has a great sense of humour and knowledge about the area/ buildings/ cultures. Highly recommend his tour! Shivam was awesome. The tour was awesome. The food was delicious and Shivam explained much of the origins of each dish. The walk through the bazaar was crazy. Shivam taught us how to cross the streets and navigate the traffic. He is an excellent guide and I highly recommend him and the tour!
Wasn't sure about doing this tour if the Slum area but it didn't feel voyeuristic with this guide
Thank you so much Sid for a great tour around dharavi. It was a tour full of information but not too fast, I felt like we could wonder around to see a bit more of what was going on. Sid is very knowledgable
The tour itself was alright. The slum route is cool, but we did spend too much time sitting bored in a gift shop while our guide had a lengthy conversation in Hindi. Also the guide didn't roll up to the meeting point until 15min after the scheduled start time, and didn't begin the tour until a half hour later.
