I had a wonderful experience on Miguel’s geisha walking tour. He is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging, and he brought the history and culture of the geisha district to life in a way that felt both authentic and respectful. He shared fascinating details that I never would have discovered on my own, and he was always happy to answer questions. What stood out even more was his professionalism. During the tour, he had to deal with a very unpleasant situation involving someone being disrespectful. It was clearly an uncomfortable moment, but Miguel handled it with calm, professionalism, and grace. He stayed respectful, kept the group comfortable, and ensured the experience remained positive for everyone. I highly recommend Miguel’s tour to anyone interested in learning more about geisha culture in a respectful and meaningful way. It was truly memorable.
